With over 20,000 square feet of warehouse space in Alexandria, Virginia, Delta Bridge has the required facilities and staff to efficiently and effectively support warehouse and Freight Operation.
Our process begins when we receive confirmation from both parties involved in the purchase order. These confirmations should be sent through EDI to our computer systems.
Within 24 hours of receiving the goods from the vendor, we inspect the goods thoroughly to make sure they are of suitable condition and match the specifications of the purchase order. Once the receiving process is complete, all of the gathered information will be entered in to our system and relayed back to the vendor.
As we send the properly referenced goods to the buyer, we will simultaneously track and release shipment status via alerts.
All goods provided by the vendor are stored in our warehouse. Delta Bridge facilities are properly outfitted with advanced security measures, including 24-hour video surveillance and a security system with restricted access for employees only. Video recordings are stored on secure file for a minimum of 90 days.
Inventory in the warehouse is in accordance with manufacturer specifications to prevent damage to products.
Once we have inspected the goods and confirmed that they are of suitable quality, we will repack and seal them in order to ensure safe shipment and detect tampering of the package. Our international shipping techniques are fully compliant with ISPM 15 rules and are represented accordingly.
We can ensure protection for the goods in transit by properly securing palletized goods and using proper shock absorbent packing material for fragile goods.
